Assistant Store Manager - Dollar Tree
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams at our Miami location. The ideal candidate will oversee daily activities, ensure compliance with policies, and drive performance through effective leadership and execution.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
- 2Help customers in a positive approachable manner addressing questions or concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor while maintaining seasonal area standards
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull HoldDestroy Task Compliance and Key Survey information requests
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise process damaged items record keeping payroll scheduling cash deposits receipts and loss prevention
- 8Maintain store areas including sales floor stockroom to company standards
- 9Protect and secure company assets including cash
- 10Adhere to safety guidelines ensure associates follow policies and provide positive safe respectful environment
- 11Supervise train and develop store associates maintain cleanliness restock bathrooms sweep mop floors take out trash ensure neatness
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred retail grocery or drug store experience
- 2Ability to lift up to 55 lbs from floor above shoulder height
- 3Strong communication interpersonal and written skills
- 4Experience working in high-energy team environments
- 5Exceptional customer service organizational and communication abilities
- 6Problem solving and decision making skills
- 75+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
