Assistant Property Manager, Commercial Medical Office - Pittsburgh
Overview
You will support a portfolio of commercial medical office properties across the greater Pittsburgh area, including McCandless, Perry Highway, Brentwood, and Greensburg. Working beside an experienced Property Manager, you will own tenant relations, vendor coordination, and daily operations while gaining exposure to budgeting and capital projects. This role suits a self-starter who wants to grow into a Property Manager position. You will travel between properties and build lasting relationships with medical tenants.
What You'll Do10
- 1Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving tenant requests and maintaining strong relationships.
- 2Coordinate work orders with service technicians to ensure timely completion and tenant satisfaction.
- 3Manage tenant move-ins, move-outs, and property inspections, documenting all findings.
- 4Oversee vendor and contractor work, confirming quality service and adherence to timelines.
- 5Maintain medical office properties to uphold safety, appearance, and compliance standards.
- 6Assist with annual budgeting, financial reporting, and operational planning using Microsoft Office and property management software.
- 7Monitor vendor contracts and service agreements to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- 8Support capital improvement projects and property upgrades, tracking progress and budgets.
- 9Coordinate emergency response efforts, ensuring rapid resolution and communication.
- 10Travel between assigned properties in the Pittsburgh market as needed.
Requirements7
- 12+ years in commercial property management, facilities management, real estate, or a related customer-focused operations role.
- 2Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across a diverse portfolio.
- 3Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities for tenant and vendor interactions.
- 4Financial aptitude with experience reviewing budgets or financial reports, preferred.
- 5Self-motivated with a desire to grow into a Property Manager role.
- 6Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
- 7Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
