What You'll Do8
- 1Drive shift performance by leading a crew of 10-20, setting the pace for speed and accuracy in a high-volume Sonic Drive-In.
- 2Train and coach crew members on food safety, cleanliness, and service standards, using Sonic training materials.
- 3Own inventory management: count, order, and rotate stock to minimize waste and meet demand.
- 4Build weekly schedules that balance labor costs with customer traffic, adjusting in real time.
- 5Open and close the store, completing cash handling, security checks, and equipment shutdown.
- 6Resolve customer issues on the spot, turning complaints into repeat visits.
- 7Enforce Sonic brand standards for food quality and presentation during every shift.
- 8Support the General Manager with sales analysis and labor forecasting to hit monthly targets.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of leadership experience in quick-service or full-service restaurants.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business or hospitality preferred.
- 3Proven ability to motivate a team during peak hours, keeping morale and speed high.
- 4Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; availability for opening or closing shifts.
- 5Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory counts, and food cost calculations.
- 6Valid food handler certification (or able to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- 7POS system experience (e.g., Aloha, Micros) preferred but not required.
- 8Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
