Overview
You will own the shift at a Domino's store in Austin, TX, directing a team of 3-10 crew members through the evening rush. Reporting to the General Manager, you will execute food safety standards, manage inventory, and coach each team member to hit service times. You will be the on-site leader who ensures every pizza leaves the oven on time and every customer leaves happy. This role builds your path to Assistant Manager, with paid training in scheduling, hiring, and P&L basics.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead the shift team through peak hours, assigning stations and directing the flow of orders.
- 2Enforce Domino's food safety and sanitation standards, checking product quality every 30 minutes.
- 3Coach crew members on make-line speed and accuracy, using the Pulse POS system to track metrics.
- 4Own the opening or closing checklist, including cash handling, deposits, and equipment shutdown.
- 5Resolve customer complaints on the spot, offering remakes or refunds per policy.
- 6Reconcile inventory counts nightly, using the Dominos inventory app to flag waste.
- 7Train new hires on oven, makeline, and front counter procedures during their first two weeks.
- 8Communicate staffing needs to the General Manager, tapping in extra drivers when delivery times spike.
Requirements7
- 118 years or older with a valid US Driver's license and a clean driving record.
- 21+ year of driving experience with a dependable vehicle and proof of auto insurance.
- 31-2 years of management experience in retail or food service, preferred but not required.
- 4Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
- 5Availability to work nights and weekends, especially Friday and Saturday rushes.
- 6Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory counts.
- 7A desire to lead people, with a track record of motivating peers or reports.
