Assistant Manager II - Retail Operations

What You'll Do10
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
- 2Help customers in a positive approachable manner addressing questions or concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor maintain seasonal areas
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy Task Compliance and Key Survey information requests
- 5Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays assist in ordering merchandise process damaged items record keeping including payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 6Protect company assets including store cash adhere to safety guidelines and ensure policy compliance
- 7Supervise train and develop store associates foster positive safe respectful environment
- 8Ensure cleanliness throughout store including bathroom cleaning restocking bathrooms sweeping mopping taking out trash and maintaining presentable areas
- 9Other duties as assigned
- 10Maintain strong communication interpersonal and written skills collaborate within high-energy team environment provide exceptional customer service organizational and problem solving abilities
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred retail grocery or drug store management experience
- 2Ability to lift up to 55 lbs from floor to above shoulder height
- 3Strong communication interpersonal and written skills
- 4Proven leadership experience in team development and training
- 5Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and operational excellence
Salary Insight
$33 - $35k per year
