Assistant Manager II Family Dollar Stores Of Maryland LLC
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, maintain store appearance, process corporate directives, and ensure compliance with policies. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills.
What You'll Do14
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives including Pull Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fronts
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged items
- 8Record keeping tasks such as payroll scheduling and cash deposits
- 9Protect company assets and ensure security
- 10Adhere to safety guidelines and enforce policies
- 11Supervise and train store associates
- 12Ensure cleanliness and organization of sales floor and stockroom
- 13Maintain bathrooms and common areas
- 14Other duties as assigned
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Ability to read and interpret operational directives
- 3Store management experience in retail grocery or drug store
- 4Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Exceptional customer service and organizational abilities
- 7Problem solving and decision making skills
- 8Experience with inventory management systems
- 9Familiarity with point of sale systems
- 10Knowledge of retail procedures
