Assistant Store Manager Family Dollar
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams. You will oversee daily activities, ensure compliance, maintain store standards, and support the Store Manager in achieving business goals.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives like Pull and Hold/Destroy
- 6Maintain promotional displays and assist in ordering merchandise
- 7Record keep including payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 8Protect company assets and adhere to safety policies
- 9Supervise and train Store Associates
- 10Ensure cleanliness and organization of store areas
- 11Maintain a positive respectful environment
Requirements7
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read and interpret operational directives
- 3Store management experience in retail grocery or drug store
- 4Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- 5Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- 6Experience with inventory systems and POS platforms
- 7Familiarity with retail compliance and safety protocols
