What You'll Do13
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
- 2Help customers in a positive approachable manner addressing questions or concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 5Process corporate directives such as pull hold destroy task compliance and key survey information requests
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of store front fixtures and displays
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise process damaged goods record keeping payroll scheduling cash register deposits receipts and loss prevention
- 8Maintain store areas including sales floor stockroom to company standards
- 9Protect and secure company assets including store cash
- 10Adhere to safety guidelines ensure associates follow policies
- 11Supervise train and develop store associates
- 12Ensure cleanliness throughout store including bathroom cleaning restocking bathrooms sweeping mopping taking out trash and maintaining neatness
- 13Other duties as assigned
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read interpret and explain operational directives such as merchandise schematics
- 3Store management experience in retail grocery or drug store environment preferred
- 4Ability to lift up to 55 lbs from floor above shoulder height
- 5Strong communication interpersonal and written skills
- 6Experience working in high-energy team environment
- 7Exceptional customer service organizational and communication skills
- 8Problem solving and decision making skills
- 9Strong problem solving and decision making skills required
