Assistant Manager I
Overview
Seeking Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations and team development. You will assist with daily store activities and provide positive customer service. This role involves managing staff and maintaining store standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy
- 6Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures
- 7Order merchandise and handle damaged items
- 8Record keep including payroll and cash transactions
- 9Protect company assets and ensure policy compliance
- 10Supervise and train Store Associates
- 11Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read operational directives like merchandise schematics
- 3Store management experience in retail or grocery environments preferred
- 4Ability to lift 55 lbs from floor to shoulder height
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- 7Experience with POS systems and inventory management tools
- 8Commitment to customer service excellence
Salary Insight
$17 - $18k per year
