Assistant Manager I
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer service, and develop teams. You will assist with daily store activities, resolve customer issues, and maintain seasonal displays. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance, and upholding company standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy
- 6Maintain promotional displays and order merchandise
- 7Record keep including payroll and scheduling
- 8Protect company assets and ensure security
- 9Supervise and train store associates
- 10Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
- 11Ensure a positive safe environment for customers and staff
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to read and interpret operational directives
- 3Store management experience in retail or grocery environments
- 4Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Exceptional customer service abilities
- 7Organizational and problem-solving skills
- 8Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
- 9Proficiency in written and verbal communication
- 10Commitment to company policies and ADA compliance
