Assistant Manager, Fast-Casual Restaurant
Overview
You will own daily operations at Poké2 Grill across two Los Angeles locations, managing a team of 10-15 staff and driving sales of $2M+ annually. You'll report directly to the General Manager and coordinate with kitchen leads to maintain food quality and speed. This role offers cross-training across all stations and a clear path to General Manager for top performers.
What You'll Do8
- 1Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders on Poké2 Grill standards
- 2Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up to ensure completion
- 3Hold team accountable for performance, providing coaching and counseling as needed
- 4Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service during peak hours
- 5Enforce product quality, cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards
- 6Staff and schedule based on labor forecasts to control costs
- 7Oversee cash handling and deposit procedures daily
- 8Manage inventory and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels
Requirements8
- 12+ years managing a fast-casual or full-service restaurant
- 21+ year experience with POS systems and inventory software
- 3Proven track record of training and developing team members
- 4Certified in ServSafe or Food Handler within 30 days of hire
- 5Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts
- 6Open availability including weekends and evenings
- 7Bilingual Spanish preferred
- 8High school diploma or equivalent required
