You'll join the front line at Poki Bar in Arcadia, CA, owning every customer interaction from greeting to bowl assembly. You'll work alongside a tight crew, keeping the line stocked and the kitchen spotless. This part-time role suits someone who loves fast, friendly service and wants to grow within a neighborhood favorite. Shifts are dynamic, but the team is tight-knit and the tips are solid.
What You'll Do8
- 1Greet every guest and build custom poké bowls with speed and a smile.
- 2Keep the service line stocked with fresh toppings and sauces during the rush.
- 3Cook rice in batches, maintaining texture and temperature standards.
- 4Wash dishes and sanitize prep surfaces between orders.
- 5Refill cold and dry goods, rotating stock to minimize waste.
- 6Pack online and to-go orders with exact accuracy.
- 7Close the station by breaking down the line and wiping down counters.
- 8Follow all food safety guidelines for handling and storage.
Requirements7
- 1At least 6 months of customer service or restaurant experience preferred.
- 2Ability to stand for 4-8 hour shifts and lift 30 pounds.
- 3Willing to learn the poké menu and rice cooking methods.
- 4Comfortable with a fast pace and quick decision-making.
- 5Friendly and upbeat with a team-first attitude.
- 6Must be available weekends and holidays.
- 7Food handler permit a plus but not required.
