Assistant Manager, Convenience Store Operations & Customer Service
Overview
Own daily store operations at a busy Utah location with leadership of a small team and hands-on customer service. You will help manage staff, inventory, and cash while upholding safety and store standards. What You'll Do9
- 1Build and supervise a team to deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues within the first contact
- 2Train staff, monitor performance, and support scheduling to ensure coverage across Sunday through Saturday
- 3Handle cash management, prepare daily sales reports, and make bank deposits with accuracy
- 4Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering merchandise and fuel, and ensure proper stock controls
- 5Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures
- 6Maintain store cleanliness and equipment maintenance to preserve presentation and efficiency
- 7Address customer inquiries professionally and escalate concerns as needed
- 8Assist in payroll and administrative tasks to support smooth operation
- 9Drive process improvements in daily operations to reduce waste and improve service quality
Requirements10
- 1Must be 21 years of age or older
- 2Retail experience preferred
- 3Ability to open and close stores across Sunday through Saturday
- 4Experience in customer service preferred
- 5Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems
- 6Basic math and computer skills
- 7Effective communication skills
- 8Customer and employee-focused attitude
- 9Ability to learn about and train products available in stores
- 10Must have a safe driving record and possess a valid Utah Driver's License
