Assistant Manager, Casual Dining & Restaurant Operations
Overview
You will lead daily restaurant operations across a high-volume Hooters location, managing a team of 15-25 staff and ensuring every guest leaves with a smile. You will report directly to the General Manager and partner with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to hit sales and service goals. We are the largest Hooters franchisee in the nation, with 76 locations across 5 states. This role offers paid training, a clear path to General Manager, and a culture that does not take itself too seriously.
What You'll Do9
- 1Drive daily operations, managing a team of 15-25 to deliver a carefree dining experience.
- 2Lead by example, keeping energy high and service top-notch during peak shifts.
- 3Own the schedule, payroll, and inventory for your shift, ensuring labor and food costs stay on target.
- 4Partner with the General Manager to hit revenue goals and execute local marketing initiatives.
- 5Coach and develop team members, turning new hires into confident Hooters brand ambassadors.
- 6Resolve guest issues in real time, turning complaints into repeat visits.
- 7Champion food safety and HACCP standards to keep every plate consistent.
- 8Track sales trends and adjust labor and ordering to maximize profitability.
- 9Celebrate wins with the team, from shout-outs to Hooters swag.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of casual dining management experience.
- 2Proven leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- 3Hands-on experience with POS systems and Micros or similar.
- 4Working knowledge of inventory, scheduling, and P&L management.
- 5ServSafe or Food Safety Manager certification preferred.
- 6High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus.
- 7Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 8Positive attitude and a willingness to have fun at work.
