You will oversee daily operations of enterprise-grade data center environments in Detroit, MI, ensuring high availability and reliability. Partner with the Director to manage critical infrastructure, coordinate maintenance, and enforce security. Lead incident response and disaster recovery, supporting hybrid cloud integration. This role drives operational excellence within a government-contracting environment.

- 1Manage data center facilities, including power, cooling, and physical security, to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- 2Coordinate maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning for 7+ years of infrastructure.
- 3Drive incident response and disaster recovery drills, reducing recovery time by 20%.
- 4Partner with IT, network, security, and cloud teams to deploy hybrid infrastructure.
- 5Monitor operational metrics and service levels, reporting weekly to leadership.
- 6Oversee vendor contracts and service providers, negotiating SLAs for AWS and Azure.
- 7Document policies and procedures for ISO 27001 compliance.
- 8Enforce security and regulatory standards across all data center operations.
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 27+ years managing data center operations, including power and cooling.
- 35+ years supporting mission-critical systems with ITIL frameworks.
- 4Experience in government contracting or regulated environments.
- 53+ years with hybrid cloud integration using AWS or Azure.
- 6Proven incident and change management skills.
- 7Strong leadership and communication abilities.
