What You'll Do7
- 1Greet every guest with warmth, own the consultation process, and recommend Madison Reed shades and products that match their needs.
- 2Perform behind-the-chair services including shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, hot tool styling, and toner applications with precision and care.
- 3Drive revenue by suggesting add-on services, retail products, and unlimited roots memberships, boosting average ticket size daily.
- 4Keep the Hair Color Bar spotless and organized, managing inventory and ensuring company standards for cleanliness and merchandising.
- 5Master color theory and application techniques through structured training, aiming for Licensed Colorist promotion in 3-9 months.
- 6Build strong guest relationships through active listening and clear communication, fostering repeat visits and referrals.
- 7Collaborate with the shift lead and colorists to keep the salon flowing smoothly, adapting to peak hours and changing demands.
Requirements7
- 1Active cosmetology license in Texas.
- 2Entry-level experience in customer service or retail; salon or beauty industry experience a plus.
- 3Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a high-volume salon or retail setting.
- 4Comfortable operating point-of-sale systems and learning new software.
- 5Fluency in English to interact effectively with guests and team.
- 6Ability to stand for 4+ hours and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- 7Availability to work peak times, including evenings and weekends, to meet guest needs.
