Asset Protection Agent
Overview
Coach and train associates on shrink awareness and theft deterrence while partnering with leadership to develop action plans. Ensure safe store environments and monitor activity using surveillance and exception-based tools. Conduct theft apprehensions and investigate criminal activity while supporting law enforcement. Validate security measures and respond to emergency triggers. Provide feedback on audit findings to minimize shrink and operational risk.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and design shrink prevention programs with associates and leaders
- 2Scale theft reduction initiatives through data analysis and trend identification
- 3Lead customer service training to improve associate performance
- 4Own and manage daily security operations including EAS and alarm responses
- 5Drive resolution of criminal investigations and maintain case documentation
- 6Assist with internal investigations and provide evidence when required
- 7Validate physical security infrastructure and address vulnerabilities
- 8Respond to potentially violent situations maintaining composure and safety
- 9Provide actionable insights from audits to enhance store security
Requirements10
- 1High School Diploma and 1-2 years relevant work experience
- 2Ability to stand, sit, and lift 25 pounds
- 3Morning afternoon and evening availability
- 4Salesperson license or ability to obtain within 60 days
- 5National certified training program completion
- 6Professional accreditation or equivalent experience
- 7Associate degree in Psychology Criminal Justice or related field
- 81-2 years retail investigation experience
- 91-2 years physical security system experience
- 10Experience investigating organized crime cases
