Rexel USA seeks an Assembly Solutions Buyer/Planner to lead sourcing and planning for raw materials and components. What You'll Do10
- 1Source and evaluate vendors for quality cost and delivery requirements with Engineering
- 2Negotiate purchase prices and terms
- 3Analyze demand forecasts and develop purchase requisitions using MRP systems
- 4Convert requisitions into purchase orders and monitor stock levels
- 5Maintain vendor relationships and resolve delivery or quality issues
- 6Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure timely material delivery
- 7Prepare reports on purchase activity and inventory status
- 8Adhere to company purchasing policies and regulations
- 9Perform tasks involving MRP and inventory systems
- 10Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes
Requirements10
- 13+ years experience in Purchasing Buying Planning or Supplier Quality
- 2Experience with MRP ERP and inventory systems preferred
- 3Certifications such as APICS CPIM CSCP or ISM preferred
- 4High School or GED required with preference for Bachelor's degree
- 5Strong negotiation and communication skills
- 6Proficiency in Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- 7Knowledge of lean principles Kanban and material requirements planning
- 8Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams
- 9Problem-solving and time management skills
- 10Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools preferred
