Overview

You'll operate Masterflex filling equipment and assemble, label, and package laboratory reagents at BEPC Inc in Pomona, CA. This 12-month contract role sits on a rotating shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) and demands precision under GMP guidelines. You'll join a team of a few assemblers, reporting to production leads, and work alongside Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to keep lines running. What You'll Do10

  • 1Set up and operate Masterflex filling equipment to meet volume specs and work instructions.
  • 2Fill, assemble, label, and package reagents per GMP procedures, ensuring zero defects.
  • 3Complete production paperwork and batch records with full accuracy.
  • 4Read work orders, manufacturing instructions, and SOPs to execute tasks flawlessly.
  • 5Perform line clearance, equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and 5S housekeeping.
  • 6Inspect, test, and package finished products, flagging any non-conformances.
  • 7Troubleshoot routine equipment issues with Engineering and Maintenance.
  • 8Dispose of hazardous waste per company protocol and support new equipment validation.
  • 9Join continuous improvement projects targeting yield, safety, and efficiency.
  • 10Collaborate with Quality and production teams on corrective actions and process fixes.

Requirements10

  • 1High school diploma or GED.
  • 22–5 years in manufacturing, assembly, filling, or packaging.
  • 3Hands-on reagent filling and packaging experience preferred.
  • 4Ability to read work orders and written manufacturing instructions.
  • 5Working knowledge of GMP and documentation accuracy.
  • 6Basic math and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • 7Strong attention to detail and willingness to stand for full shifts.
  • 8Capability to lift up to 15 pounds and perform repetitive hand movements.
  • 9Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing is a plus.
  • 10Familiarity with FDA, ISO, OSHA, or regulated environments preferred.
