Armed Security Officer, Weekend Overnights (Part-Time)
Overview
Protect people and property at a government location on weekend overnights. You will patrol, screen access, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible armed presence. This role is part-time with weekend shifts and opportunities to grow through Allied Universal’s platform.
What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to visitors and employees at a government site while following site policies
- 2Monitor access points, verify credentials, direct visitors, and document incidents
- 3Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts
- 4Conduct armed patrols of facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
- 5Maintain compliance with laws, licensing requirements, and site-specific procedures
Requirements5
- 1Minimum one year of armed security related, law enforcement, or military experience
- 2High school diploma or GED
- 3Armed guard card or license preferred
- 4Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles
- 5Background check and drug screen as required by law
