Area Production Manager, Aggregate Operations
Overview
You will lead seven limestone quarries and two aggregate yards across Kentucky and Nashville, overseeing safety, production, and P&L performance. - 5Develop annual operating plans, budgets, and capital priorities, tracking performance against financial goals.
- 6Implement continuous improvement initiatives to boost plant efficiency and equipment utilization.
- 7Oversee capital projects from scoping to execution, coordinating with engineering and maintenance teams.
- 8Manage procurement of supplies and services, enforcing company policies and cost controls.
- 9Own supply chain coordination for materials across the area to meet production schedules.
- 10Review operational metrics weekly with plant managers to adjust production plans and improve outcomes.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, Business, Construction Management, or related field.
- 210+ years in mining, aggregates, heavy industrial operations, or construction materials.
- 35+ years managing multiple sites or operations, with P&L accountability.
- 4MSHA compliance knowledge and experience with surface mining regulations.
- 5Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel between sites regularly.
- 6Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a safety-critical environment.
- 7Experience with aggregate processing equipment such as crushers, screens, and conveyors.
- 8Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
