Arborist Estimator & Sales Rep, Tree Care
Overview
You will own the sales pipeline from first customer contact to signed contract, assessing tree health and safety to deliver precise estimates for Lynn’s Total Tree Care. Working alongside certified arborists and experienced climbers, you will translate technical assessments into clear, actionable quotes. Your work directly drives revenue for a growing Detroit-based company, with steady full-time hours and advancement opportunities. This role stands out for its blend of field expertise and customer interaction, with CPH certification valued but not required.
What You'll Do7
- 1Meet with customers at their properties to assess tree conditions and project scope.
- 2Produce accurate, itemized estimates using TreeTrail and iTree software.
- 3Close sales by presenting quotes, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
- 4Coordinate with crew leads to confirm job specifications and timelines.
- 5Capture photos and notes for each estimate to ensure crew clarity.
- 6Follow up with customers post-estimate to secure bookings.
- 7Track all estimates and sales in CRM to monitor progress.
Requirements7
- 13+ years in tree service sales or estimating.
- 2ISA Certified Arborist or CPH certification.
- 3Strong knowledge of tree species, health assessment, and hazard identification.
- 4Proven ability to convert estimates into closed sales.
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 6Comfort with technology, including CRM and spatial mapping tools.
- 7Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Salary Insight
$37 - $73k per year
