Overview
The Applied AI Strategy Business Planning Lead - Chief of Staff will own and execute AI strategy and business planning for a 120+ person organization. This role serves as an operating partner to the VP Head of Applied AI driving transformation across enterprise teams. The ideal candidate brings strategic leadership experience and excels at translating complex AI initiatives into clear business narratives.
What You'll Do11
- 1Executive communications and storytelling
- 2Develop high-quality presentation materials for C-suite and senior executive audiences
- 3Partner with Applied AI leaders to translate technical AI work into clear business narratives
- 4Design and manage the Applied AI operating cadence including staff meetings and OKR checkpoints
- 5Drive the annual and quarterly priority-setting process across the organization
- 6Coordinate internally facing initiatives that improve team effectiveness and cross-functional alignment
- 7Partner with finance HR and Applied AI leadership to maintain budget and investment trackers
- 8Engage regularly with Chiefs of Staffs and peer organizations to share information and resolve dependencies
- 9Lead or coordinate high-priority special projects for Digital initiatives
- 10Bring structured problem solving and analytical rigor to ambiguous business challenges
- 11Maintain financial and operational discipline while supporting rapid execution
Requirements10
- 110+ years of experience in business operations strategy planning or Chief of Staff roles
- 2Exceptional executive communication skills for C-suite presentations
- 3Strong business acumen with financial literacy and budget management experience
- 4Proven ability to manage complex intake and multiple stakeholder priorities
- 5Technical fluency in AI data platforms and responsible AI concepts
- 6Bachelor's degree required with preference for MBA MS or advanced degree
- 7Experience supporting VP-level executives in Chief of Staff capacity
- 8Familiarity with AI adoption governance and enterprise AI enablement topics
- 9Proven track record building operating mechanisms like OKRs and roadmap reviews
- 10Experience in relocation and full-time USA-based work location

$131 - $205k per year
