Overview
You will design and implement enterprise GIS architectures for utility operations at scale. Lead the deployment of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise across Server, Portal, Online, and Enterprise Geodatabases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS with Hexagon Intergraph solutions and drive mapping initiatives for electric, gas, water, and renewable energy. What You'll Do8
- 1Design end-to-end Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments covering Server, Portal, Online, and Geodatabases for utility clients.
- 2Implement GIS solutions that support electric, gas, water, and renewable operations, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
- 3Lead migration of legacy Hexagon Intergraph mapping systems to modern Esri platforms.
- 4Architect secure and scalable Enterprise Geodatabase schemas for massive utility datasets.
- 5Collaborate with engineers to integrate ArcGIS APIs with existing Energy management systems.
- 6Drive technical design reviews to ensure optimal performance and maintainability of GIS solutions.
- 7Shape rollout strategies for ArcGIS Online portals, enabling field and office teams.
- 8Mentor junior developers on GIS best practices and Esri architecture patterns.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 28+ years designing and implementing enterprise GIS architectures and solutions.
- 3Strong expertise with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise platform including Server, Portal, Online, and Enterprise Geodatabases.
- 4Experience working within Energy and Utilities environments supporting electric, gas, water, or renewable utility operations.
- 5Exposure to Hexagon Intergraph GIS technologies and related utility mapping solutions.
- 6Solid understanding of SQL and database design for geospatial data.
- 7Hands-on experience with Python or JavaScript for GIS automation and web mapping.
- 8Excellent communication skills to interface with business stakeholders and technical teams.
