Overview

Commercial Appliance Technician owns installation and service of washers and dryers at apartment communities and other sites across the region. They will install, test, and troubleshoot equipment while delivering professional customer service at scale. This role collaborates with property managers, teammates, and customers, and is based on a full-time, onsite schedule with overtime opportunities. The position emphasizes hands-on work, safety, and ongoing technical skill growth.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Build and install commercial washers and dryers at customer sites
  • 2Connect water, electrical, venting, and payment systems and perform testing
  • 3Transport existing equipment and maintain inventory and company vehicle
  • 4Complete installation documentation using a tablet and communicate status to customers
  • 5Follow safety procedures and provide professional service to property managers and tenants
  • 6Diagnose minor issues and perform preventative maintenance on installed equipment

Requirements9

  • 1Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • 2Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools
  • 3Basic wiring knowledge preferred
  • 4Ability to lift and move heavy appliances with proper equipment
  • 5Strong customer service and communication skills
  • 6Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
  • 7Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • 8DOT certification or willingness to obtain
  • 9Gas line installation certification is a plus
