A&P Mechanic, Cessna Citation & King Air
Overview
You will own maintenance, repair, and overhaul of Cessna Citation and King Air aircraft at a Charlotte, NC facility. You will join a close-knit team of 5-7 technicians handling scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and documentation. The operation supports CMP tracking and Airworthiness Directives compliance. This role offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule and access to a century of collective aviation expertise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul on Cessna Citation and King Air airframes, engines, and systems.
- 2Execute A checks, C checks, and hourly inspections, including 12- and 24-month tasks.
- 3Conduct 5,000-cycle airframe inspections with NDT as required.
- 4Support CMP tracking, verify compliance, and enter accurate data.
- 5Ensure AD and SB compliance, documenting all work.
- 6Research engine and airframe logbooks to verify maintenance history and upcoming requirements.
- 7Assist with engine removal and replacement following approved procedures.
- 8Remove and replace thrust reversers and related components.
- 9Execute 12-, 24-, 48-, and 72-month inspection items, documenting findings.
- 10Conduct 5,000-cycle landing gear inspections and assist with repairs.
- 11Maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate with the technician team.
Requirements9
- 1Valid FAA A&P License.
- 2Own tools.
- 33+ years performing maintenance on Cessna Citation, King Air, or similar aircraft.
- 4Experience with A and C checks and hourly inspections.
- 5Knowledge of NDT procedures.
- 6Familiarity with CMP tracking systems and AD/SB compliance.
- 7Ability to research maintenance logs and perform engine removal.
- 8Experience with thrust reverser removal and replacement.
- 9Proficiency in documenting work per regulatory and manufacturer guidelines.
Salary Insight
