What You'll Do11
- 1Diagnose mechanical or hydraulic malfunctions in aircraft accessories and hydraulic components using technical manuals and testing equipment
- 2Repair malfunctioning components following approved procedures and manufacturer specifications
- 3Assemble hydraulic components with precision measuring tools and calibrated equipment
- 4Test aircraft components using gauges meters and hydraulic test stands
- 5Maintain maintenance records to ensure FAA regulatory compliance
- 6Perform special projects as assigned
- 7Develop multi-tasking and deadline meeting skills
- 8Demonstrate strong communication verbal and written abilities
- 9Apply mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- 10Manage time effectively in a warehouse environment
- 11Pass mandatory FAA drug testing
Requirements11
- 13+ years aviation experience preferred Part 145 Repair Shop
- 2Currently attending Aircraft School or holding FAA Airframe or Powerplant certification
- 3High School diploma or equivalent
- 4Ability to read speak and write English
- 5Basic computer system knowledge
- 6Must be authorized to work in the US
- 7Strong organizational and time management skills
- 8Physical ability to lift 40 pounds
- 9Frequent standing walking and ability to reach bend stoop kneel
- 10Specific vision requirements include close distance color peripheral depth and focus
- 11Reliable work ethic and dependability
