What You'll Do8

- 4Perform euthanasia under supervision and collect rabies specimens
- 5Coordinate transport to veterinary clinics for specialized care
- 6Assess animal behavior during introductions and communicate with stakeholders
- 7Maintain accurate records and provide counseling on adoption resources
- 8Support shelter operations through daily intake workflows
Requirements6
- 1Valid Texas Class C Driver License
- 2Texas Department of Health Certified Euthanasia Technician certification within 120 days
- 35+ years experience working with animals in rescue or shelter environments
- 4Proven ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
- 5Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse groups
- 6Commitment to animal welfare and ethical treatment practices
