AI Security Fellowship Program Lead
Overview
You will own the SL5 fellowship, conferences, and community events, building a global network of senior security experts. You report to the CEO and work with the SL5 ops team to transform the SF office into a security-conscious community hub. This role offers the chance to shape the first SL5 datacenter standards and transition top talent into frontier AI security.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and launch the SL5 fellowship program, targeting senior security experts for roles at frontier AI labs and Lucid Computing.
- 2Coordinate and run custom workshops, panel discussions, and conferences in the SL5 SF space, partnering with affiliated organizations.
- 3Develop a community engagement strategy to make the SL5 SF offices a thriving hub for leading specialists.
- 4Own content, branding, invites, and network building for all community programs.
- 5Host quarterly SL5 Happy Hours and expand the curated invite list.
- 6Drive proactive outreach to high-potential generalist engineers for AI security specialization.
- 7Implement collaborator lunches and visitor research stays to foster cross-disciplinary exchange.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelors or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related field.
- 25+ years running competitive fellowship programs with 10+ fellows per cohort.
- 3Proven track record recruiting personnel at the tier of 'could get offers at AI labs' for security roles.
- 4High agency individual able to spot emergent project needs and grow to fill them.
- 5Operationally skilled at running complex programs end-to-end.
- 6Demonstrated interpersonal finesse for navigating community health topics with professionalism.
- 7Active enjoyment of proactive outreach and cross-cultural interaction.
- 8Experience running an international conference or industry-leading workshop is a plus.
