Sapiom seeks a Staff AI Platform Engineer to architect the core platform that powers AI agents at scale. The ideal candidate will define technical direction and lead the creation of a unified system for compute, memory, and monitoring. Requirements11
- 18+ years experience building large-scale backend systems
- 2Strong programming skills in Python Go TypeScript or similar
- 3Experience with modern AI systems including LLMs and tool calling
- 4Familiarity with vector databases and retrieval systems
- 5Knowledge of LLM serving technologies such as vLLM or SGLang
- 6Experience with distributed execution systems like Temporal or event-driven architectures
- 7Background in building developer platforms prioritizing developer experience
- 8Track record of driving technical strategy while staying hands-on
- 9Contributions to open-source infrastructure or AI projects
- 10Experience with orchestration frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI
- 11Understanding of containerization and cloud-native patterns
