Overview

The AI Data Scientist leads precision oncology research by applying advanced analytics and machine learning to improve clinical outcomes. This role drives AI-enabled solutions across large-scale clinical and genomic datasets while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable oncology AI initiatives.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Design and implement predictive models using Python and machine learning frameworks to analyze clinical and genomic data
  • 2Develop and maintain reproducible data pipelines leveraging Spark and Airflow for ETL processes
  • 3Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical validation to identify biomarkers and treatment patterns
  • 4Collaborate with oncologists and bioinformaticians to translate findings into actionable clinical insights
  • 5Optimize data infrastructure using cloud platforms such as AWS to support large-scale analytics workloads
  • 6Lead workshops to train staff on AI tools and best practices for data-driven decision making
  • 7Drive deployment of AI solutions through containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • 8Establish governance standards for data quality and model performance in healthcare contexts
  • 9Mentor junior scientists and contribute to knowledge sharing across the research organization

Requirements9

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 23-5 seasons leading data science projects in healthcare settings
  • 3Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4Master`s Degree preferred in quantitative disciplines
  • 5Strong proficiency in Python programming and data science libraries
  • 6Experience with SQL, Linux environments, and version control systems
  • 7Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
  • 8Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • 9Commitment to ethical AI development in medical contexts
