What You'll Do14
- 1Design implement and maintain AI/ML-driven threat detection and response capabilities across cloud endpoint identity and network environments
- 2Detect and defend against AI-enabled attacks including prompt injection model poisoning data leakage adversarial ML and automated social engineering
- 3Engineer high-fidelity detections across SIEM and security platforms and continuously tune for precision and efficacy
- 4Define and implement security controls for AI systems covering model access training data protection inference security and logging
- 5Partner with data science and engineering teams to ensure secure AI lifecycle practices
- 6Assess and mitigate risks from third-party and vendor AI platforms
- 7Translate enterprise security policy into enforceable technical controls for AI workloads
- 8Map AI security capabilities to frameworks such as NIST CSF MITRE ATT&CK MITRE ATLAS and OWASP AI/LLM Top 10
- 9Produce architecture diagrams security patterns and implementation guidance for audit and executive review
- 10Support incident response involving AI-driven threats or AI system compromise
- 11Research emerging AI threat techniques and translate findings into preventive and detective controls
- 12Lead proof-of-concept efforts applying AI to detection engineering and security automation
- 13Communicate AI security risks and mitigations to technical teams risk leaders and executives
- 14Serve as a technical mentor and subject matter expert without formal people management duties
Requirements11
- 1Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Engineering or related field
- 27+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering detection engineering or security operations
- 3Demonstrated experience in AI or ML techniques in security use cases
- 4Strong knowledge of cloud identity endpoint network and data security
- 5Proficiency with SIEM platforms telemetry pipelines and detection engineering tools
- 6Ability to operate independently and deliver production quality security capabilities
- 7Eligibility to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship
- 8Experience securing large language models or AI platforms in production
- 9Familiarity with secure AI development or MLOps security practices
- 10Scripting or automation experience using Python or PowerShell
- 11Experience in regulated or highly audited environments
