You will own the customer checkout experience at a high-volume HomeGoods retail store in Dallas, TX, processing purchases and returns with speed and accuracy. You'll be the final touchpoint for shoppers, promoting loyalty programs and ensuring a clean, organized front end. What You'll Do8
- 1Ring customer purchases and returns accurately, counting change back per HomeGoods procedures.
- 2Promote the TJX Rewards credit card and loyalty program to every customer at checkout.
- 3Maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor, restocking shelves and recovering misplaced items throughout your shift.
- 4Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor, tagging and organizing items per store guidelines.
- 5Support store shrink reduction goals by monitoring high-theft areas and following loss prevention protocols.
- 6Participate in store cleanliness initiatives, keeping the front end and sales floor ready for peak traffic.
- 7Model customer experience principles, engaging each shopper with a friendly, helpful attitude.
- 8Cross-train across multiple store areas, including returns and fitting room, to meet business needs.
Requirements7
- 11+ year of retail cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- 2Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
- 3Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members clearly.
- 4Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and count change accurately.
- 5Flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- 6Attention to detail for processing returns and maintaining merchandise standards.
- 7Positive attitude and willingness to receive and act on feedback.
