After-School Literacy Program Coach
Overview
After-School Literacy Program Coach leads the Read Better Be Better initiative connecting young readers and youth leaders to foster literacy and leadership. The role focuses on delivering programs for up to 32 students across kindergarten through eighth grade while maintaining compliance with RBBB standards. This position emphasizes community impact and professional growth.
What You'll Do10
- 1Attend RBBB Orientation and Program Coach Training before placement
- 2Prepare and maintain RBBB program materials for student sessions
- 3Facilitate curriculum activities and encourage student participation
- 4Ensure adherence to RBBB procedures and program structures
- 5Wrap up sessions and properly store materials for future use
- 6Train and monitor student Leaders as needed
- 7Maintain communication with school staff about student experiences
- 8Share program successes and challenges with the Program Coordinator
- 9Attend weekly offsite Coach meetings and mandatory team meetings at headquarters
- 10Perform additional duties as assigned by management

- 1High School Diploma GED or equivalent
- 2Basic computer skills for communication and payroll
- 3IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- 4Ability to interact effectively with children
- 5Strong motivation and group direction capabilities
- 6Experience managing multiple age groups
