Overview
Lead manufacturing engineer ownership of production operations at Cascade Engineering Technologies. Support complex aerospace programs requiring high precision process control and continuous improvement. Drive efficiency reductions and variation improvements through collaborative teamwork.
What You'll Do12
- 1Troubleshoot machining and production related issues
- 2Provide engineering support for 3 4 5 axis CNC machining of titanium Inconel and aluminum components
- 3Identify and implement process improvements focused on quality efficiency cost reduction and throughput
- 4Conduct root cause analysis and execute corrective actions
- 5Evaluate manufacturability of new and existing aerospace components
- 6Develop and improve manufacturing processes tooling strategies and workholding methods
- 7Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and 5S
- 8Optimize workflow workstation and manufacturing layout
- 9Collaborate with machinists programmers quality and leadership teams
- 10Interpret engineering drawings specifications and GD&T requirements
- 11Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
- 12Maintain documentation and process standardization
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience
- 25+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in production environment
- 3Strong aerospace machining knowledge particularly with castings and billet materials
- 4Experience supporting CNC machining operations and process improvements
- 5Understanding of GD&T blueprint reading and aerospace tolerancing
- 6Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing systems
- 7Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced manufacturing environment
- 8Skills in Microsoft Office applications Excel Word Outlook
- 9Independent collaboration across departments
- 10U.S. Citizenship required
