What You'll Do6
- 1Assess and treat acute injuries and illnesses for in person and telemedicine patients focusing on febrile infants and common conditions like ear infections and asthma.
- 2Perform procedures such as abscess drainage and laceration repair using sutures staples and adhesive.
- 3Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretations with radiology over reads.
- 4Oversee patient flow and manage provider staff and trainees during daily operations.
- 5Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while preserving a safe work environment.
- 6Update knowledge through internal training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements5
- 1Active RN or NP/PA state license for each state where treating patients.
- 2Master of Science in Nursing or doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant studies.
- 3Board certification such as ANCC CPC or NCCPA.
- 45+ years pediatric experience with proven ability to multitask and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- 5Strong communication skills and commitment to patient centered care.
