Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric Radiology Instructor
Overview
The Department of Radiology seeks a full-time faculty member as an Instructor in Pediatric Radiology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. This position involves rotating between Aurora and Highlands Ranch locations and requires expertise in fluoroscopic imaging and report drafting.
What You'll Do9
- 1Perform diagnostic and therapeutic fluoroscopic procedures under pediatric radiologist supervision
- 2Consult with clinical providers regarding fluoroscopic exam scheduling
- 3Execute basic interventional radiology procedures such as gastrojejunostomy tube placement
- 4Communicate effectively with patients families and referring providers
- 5Draft comprehensive radiographic reports including bone age and DEXA scans
- 6Provide technical training to diagnostic technologists on equipment use and protocols
- 7Standardize fluoroscopic workflows to enhance operational efficiency
- 8Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives
- 9Maintain Colorado fluoroscopy certification within six months of employment
Requirements5
- 1Registered Radiology Assistant or equivalent practitioner status
- 2Board certification as Radiology Practitioner Assistant or similar
- 3Minimum five years of fluoroscopy experience
- 4Pediatric radiology specialization
- 5Proficiency in pediatric imaging modalities
