What You'll Do7
- 1Conduct detailed patient histories and physical examinations to assess health status and identify medical conditions
- 2Order interpret and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions
- 3Develop evidence-based treatment plans including prescribing medications complying with DEA regulations
- 4Provide patient education on disease prevention lifestyle modifications and medication adherence
- 5Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and facilitate specialist referrals
- 6Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
- 7Respond promptly to patient inquiries and manage urgent clinical situations using BLS techniques
Requirements10
- 1Current unrestricted NP or PA license in the practicing state
- 2Certification in Basic Life Support from an accredited organization
- 3Comprehensive knowledge of DEA regulations for controlled substance prescribing
- 4At least one year of advanced clinical practice in family practice or primary care
- 5Two years in primary care settings
- 6Experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- 7Additional training in chronic disease management or geriatric care
- 8Previous work in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
- 9Participation in continuing education programs related to family practice
- 10Demonstrated ability to thrive in a progressive physician-led network
