Overview
You will own advanced clinical tasks under RN guidance at Medical City Lewisville, delivering PCT care to diverse patients across telemetry and phlebotomy. You will work with a nursing team in a 24/7 hospital setting, performing EKG, IV removal, and wound care. What You'll Do5
- 1Observe patients, document changes, and communicate findings to the nursing team.
- 2Help patients with daily needs (ADLs) such as eating, bathing, and safe movement.
- 3Perform advanced care: phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, IV line and catheter removal, and wound care.
- 4Assist with lab sample collection and clerical duties to keep care running smoothly.
- 5Anticipate patient needs and respond quickly to ensure compassionate, seamless care.
Requirements5
- 12+ years of experience as a Patient Care Tech or similar role.
- 2Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- 3PCT or CNA certification required.
- 4Certified Phlebotomist or Certified in EKG.
- 5No travel required.
