Adobe Edge Delivery Services Solution Architect
Overview
Own end-to-end AEM Site delivery using Edge Delivery Services and Assets solutions. Lead discovery workshops and manage implementation phases including design architecture development testing and deployment. Champion engineering rigor through test-driven development continuous integration and comprehensive documentation. Guide developers on backend and frontend best practices while providing architectural input on caching CDN security and environment configuration. Manage cross-functional teams of ten or more globally. Define migration strategies from classic AEM to Edge Delivery focusing on content supply chain modeling template mapping and automated content import. Apply AI-assisted development using Firefly AEM AI Assistant GenStudio and Adobe Experience Platform/AI Agents to accelerate delivery timelines.
What You'll Do11
- 1Organize and facilitate discovery and requirement capture workshops
- 2Lead design architecture development testing and deployment of AEM Sites using Edge Delivery Services and Assets solutions
- 3Work with project managers to define project deliver approach
- 4Champion engineering rigor through test-driven development continuous integration and detailed documentation
- 5Provide technical guidance to AEM developers and practitioners around best practices in AEM development and configuration
- 6Be hands-on with code and configuration when needed
- 7Provide architectural guidance/input around environment configuration caching CDN usage security and governance
- 8Manage project teams of 10 or more people in onsite and remote global locations
- 9Lead design architecture development testing and deployment of AEM Sites on Edge Delivery Services and Document-based Universal Editor authoring
- 10Define and lead Classic-AEM Edge Delivery migration strategy including content supply chain modeling template block mapping and large-scale automated content import
- 11Champion AI-accelerated delivery applying AI-assisted development migration and content-authoring tooling to compress project timelines
Requirements8
- 1Minimum of 7 years of architecting and delivering full-lifecycle software/digital experience projects
- 2Minimum of 3 years of experience across Adobe Experience Manager Sites and Assets
- 3Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Edge Delivery Services experience building Edge Delivery sites and understanding front-end fundamentals
- 4Minimum of 3 years of experience with leading discovery/design workshops
- 5Minimum of 2 years of experience migrating traditional AEM Sites to Edge Delivery Services
- 6Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years work experience)
- 7Bonus points for Enterprise DAM/AEM Assets delivery Adobe Target Analytics AEP Campaign Workfront Firefly implementation experience
- 8Multi-brand multi-site architecture design-token governance and federated component strategies
