Administrative Assistant at Fred Astaire Dance Studios
Overview
The Administrative Assistant will own front desk operations and student support at our Paradise Valley studio, impacting the student and guest experience across daily operations. This role combines administrative tasks with customer service in a dynamic, people-focused environment. You will collaborate with students, instructors, and management to keep schedules, records, and events running smoothly and positively distinguishes our studio.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet students and guests in a warm, professional manner and manage in-person interactions
- 2Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally
- 3Schedule private lessons, group classes, events, and studio activities to optimize capacity and experience
- 4Maintain accurate student records, schedules, and administrative information
- 5Assist with enrollment, payments, packages, and account updates and communicate with current and prospective students
- 6Support promotions, showcases, competitions, and special events
- 7Coordinate communication between students, instructors, and studio management
- 8Maintain a clean, organized front desk and studio environment
- 9Process transactions and maintain accurate administrative records
- 10Assist with daily opening and closing procedures and support management and staff with admin tasks
Requirements10
- 1Previous experience in administrative front-desk customer service or hospitality preferred
- 2Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- 4Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment
- 5Professional, friendly demeanor and strong customer service focus
- 6Comfort using computers, email, scheduling software, and basic office applications
- 7Ability to learn new software and systems quickly
- 8Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- 9Flexible availability including evenings and occasional weekends
- 10Interest in ballroom dancing is a plus
