Overview
We seek an Activities Assistant to create engaging experiences for residents at Brockton Post Acute Care. The ideal candidate will design and implement programs that promote social emotional physical and intellectual well being while supporting staff and family collaboration. What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement recreational educational and community programs
- 2Document resident participation and engagement in activities
- 3Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align activities with care goals
- 4Assist with community outreach and marketing events
- 5Prepare and organize activities decorations and events
- 6Escort and transport residents to and from activities
- 7Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
- 8Observe and report changes in resident moods behaviors and interests
- 9Support resident care through compassionate interactions
- 10Complete required audits and program documentation
- 11Foster a welcoming environment that reflects our core values
Requirements8
- 1Minimum 18 years old
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Proficiency in reading writing speaking and understanding English
- 4Experience working with seniors preferred
- 5Strong interpersonal communication skills
- 6Patience enthusiasm creativity and passion for enriching lives
- 7Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting
- 8Commitment to professional development through continuing education
Salary Insight
$31 - $42k per year
