Activation Engineer Supply Chain
Overview
The Activation Engineer Supply Chain leads facility activation at NAPA's new sites in Minneapolis. This role ensures successful project delivery while leveraging expertise in supply chain automation technologies. The engineer reports to the Activation Engineering Director and serves as the primary on-site technical resource.
What You'll Do11
- 1Lead greenfield project activation from ground up to completion
- 2Provide technical oversight commissioning support for capacity and throughput improvements
- 3Collaborate with Project Manager to align engineering activities with project goals
- 4Offer permitting support to ensure timely building launches
- 5Serve as local engineering expert providing guidance to project teams
- 6Implement supply chain automation technologies for system integration
- 7Coordinate with vendors and contractors for automation installation
- 8Support progress tracking timelines and budgets for project managers
- 9Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate status and risks
- 10Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- 11Travel up to 80% to support on-site activation activities

- 15+ years building activation experience
- 2Supply chain automation technologies knowledge
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4AWS Certified experience required
- 5BCBA certification acceptable
- 65+ years building automation system implementation
- 73-5 seasons relevant project management experience
- 8Strong problem-solving abilities
- 9Excellent communication skills for contractor liaison
- 10Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
