Accounting Systems Analyst, Payments & Data Analytics
Overview
The role owns payment acceptance analytics at scale, addressing merchant payment issues and leading initiatives to improve payment flows and compliance. You will partner with product, operations, technology, and external vendors to design dashboards and analyses that inform risk and optimization opportunities. This is a hybrid contract position based in Miami with four days on-site and one remote day.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and analyze data pipelines and dashboards to monitor payment flows and incident root causes
- 2Design and implement SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze large payment datasets
- 3Lead and support ad hoc payment flow improvement projects
- 4Scale payment processing workflows in collaboration with gateways, processors, and internal platforms
- 5Own investigations of payment-related issues and translate findings into actionable roadmaps for enhancements
Requirements5
- 17+ years of experience in payments, money movement, or merchant payment acceptance
- 2Strong hands-on experience with payment gateways and payment processing workflows
- 3Advanced SQL skills with experience pulling and analyzing large data sets
- 4Experience building and interpreting reports and dashboards using Power BI
- 5Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed investigations and translate findings into actionable insights
