What You'll Do11
- 1Enter and process vendor invoices into the accounting system
- 2Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- 3Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- 4Track project-related expenses and job costing information
- 5Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- 6Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
- 7Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
- 8Generate reports related to project costs budgets and expenditures
- 9Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and invoice discrepancies
- 10Support Construction Managers and Project Managers with financial and administrative requests
- 11Organize and maintain electronic and physical accounting records
Requirements10
- 1Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- 2Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles
- 3Excellent data entry skills
- 4Proficient in MS Office suite
- 5High attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- 61-2 years in construction accounting or related experience
- 7Degree in accounting or related field currently in progress
- 8Valid driver's license
- 9Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- 10Specific vision abilities required: close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception ability to adjust focus
