3DEXPERIENCE L3 Support Engineer, PLM & DevOps
Overview
You will own L3 support for a global 3DEXPERIENCE PLM platform in a manufacturing environment, resolving critical issues across Java applications and MySQL/MariaDB databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain system stability and drive continuous improvement, using Ansible for automation and GitHub for code management. This role involves working onsite in Dearborn, MI, 4 days per week, and offers the chance to deepen your expertise in multi-PLM environments like Teamcenter.
What You'll Do8
- 1Debug and resolve L3 production incidents for 3DEXPERIENCE applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- 2Triage and prioritize tickets from business users, identifying root causes in Java code and MySQL/MariaDB databases.
- 3Automate repetitive tasks and deployments using Ansible playbooks, reducing manual effort.
- 4Manage code versioning and build pipelines with GitHub, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
- 5Collaborate with development teams to fix bugs and implement patches for PLM customizations.
- 6Monitor system performance and proactively address bottlenecks in application and database layers.
- 7Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and best practices for L1/L2 support teams.
- 8Support cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE deployments and ensure integration with on-premise systems.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in L3 support for 3DEXPERIENCE or Teamcenter in a manufacturing environment.
- 25+ years hands-on with Java application support and debugging.
- 35+ years experience with MySQL or MariaDB, including query tuning and data analysis.
- 43+ years using Ansible for configuration management and automation.
- 53+ years with GitHub for source control and CI/CD workflows.
- 6Experience with DevOps tooling: Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Artifactory.
- 7Familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud (SaaS) and multi-PLM environments.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
