You will lead Yoga Sculpt classes at YogaSix in Philadelphia, guiding 15-25 students per session to build strength, flexibility, and confidence through high-energy, music-driven workouts. You will join a tight-knit team of fitness professionals committed to member success and community connection, with each class starting at $30. What You'll Do8
- 1Plan and lead Yoga Sculpt classes that blend vinyasa flow with strength training for varied skill levels, keeping energy high and movements safe.
- 2Deliver clear, concise instruction on form and technique, offering modifications to accommodate beginners and advanced students.
- 3Curate motivational playlists that match class tempo and theme, building a soundtrack that drives intensity and connection.
- 4Foster an inclusive, empowering studio environment where every participant feels seen, supported, and challenged.
- 5Monitor participant safety, respond swiftly to injuries or concerns, and enforce studio policies to prevent accidents.
- 6Arrive 15 minutes early to set up the space, greet students, and review class plan for seamless execution.
- 7Build rapport with clients, learn names and goals, and encourage repeat attendance through personal engagement.
- 8Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio floor, weights, and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
Requirements7
- 1200-hour or 500-hour yoga certification (RYT) or nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ISSA, AFAA)
- 2Current CPR/AED certification required
- 31+ years teaching group fitness or yoga preferred
- 4Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- 5Ability to adapt instruction to multiple fitness levels
- 6Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- 7Availability for morning and weekend classes
