What You'll Do10

  • 1Analyze electrical, inline, defectivity, and reliability data to identify yield loss mechanisms, then implement corrective actions.
  • 2Develop and execute yield improvement plans for NPI and high-volume manufacturing using JMP, Minitab, or Python.
  • 3Perform process integration studies across lithography, etch, deposition, CMP, plating, cleaning, and metrology modules.
  • 4Correlate process parameters with yield, reliability, and device performance metrics to guide process changes.
  • 5Drive root cause analysis using DOE, SPC, Pareto, FMEA, and statistical methods.
  • 6Support technology transfer from development to manufacturing, ensuring stable process windows and manufacturability.
  • 7Collaborate with process, equipment, quality, product, reliability, and customer teams to resolve technical issues.
  • 8Monitor excursion trends and establish preventive actions to improve process robustness.
  • 9Define process control strategies, specifications, and yield monitoring methodologies.
  • 10Generate technical reports and presentations for management and customers.

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • 23 years of semiconductor Process Integration or Yield Engineering experience.
  • 3Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication or advanced packaging process flows.
  • 4Experience with statistical data analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, Python, or Excel.
  • 5Knowledge of SPC, DOE, Cp/Cpk, yield analysis, and defect reduction methodologies.
  • 6Familiarity with electrical test data analysis and inline metrology correlation.
  • 7Experience supporting NPI and high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • 8Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
