What You'll Do10

  • 1Produce detailed radiographic images using X-Ray and C-arm equipment, adjusting exposure factors per MD protocols.
  • 2Position patients correctly and explain each procedure to ensure comfort and safety during imaging.
  • 3Operate C-arm for fluoroscopic guidance during fertility procedures, maintaining image clarity and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • 4Verify patient identity, pregnancy status, and clinical history before each exam to align with radiology standards.
  • 5Maintain imaging equipment by performing routine quality checks and reporting malfunctions to the lead technologist.
  • 6Document procedures in EPIC and PACS systems, ensuring accurate records for the clinical team.
  • 7Coordinate with physicians and nurses to prioritize urgent imaging requests in the surgery center.
  • 8Follow ALARA principles to keep radiation doses as low as reasonably achievable.
  • 9Complete required CE credits and stay current with ARRT and BLS certifications.
  • 10Cover weekend rotations every two weeks to support continuous patient care.

Requirements8

  • 12+ years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a clinical setting, with competency in C-arm operation.
  • 2Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with current New Jersey state license.
  • 3Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 4Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook for patient documentation and scheduling.
  • 5Experience in women's health or reproductive endocrinology, preferred but not required.
  • 6Demonstrated ability to position patients and select exposure factors for optimal image quality.
  • 7Strong communication skills to explain procedures and build rapport with patients.
  • 8Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, plus two weekends per month.
