What You'll Do11
- 1Act as primary technical advisor for messaging and event-driven architecture engagements across AWS customers worldwide
- 2Design and validate architectures using Amazon SQS Amazon SNS Amazon MQ and related services
- 3Guide customers migrating from on-premises brokers to AWS managed messaging services
- 4Create reference architectures patterns and best practices for pub/sub point-to-point fan-out and event-driven integrations
- 5Partner with AWS service teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback
- 6Develop technical content establishing thought leadership in messaging space
- 7Collaborate with account teams GTM specialists and other SSAs to identify messaging opportunities
- 8Engage open-source community to advise customers on managed versus self-hosted solutions
- 9Deliver field enablement materials for broader SA population
- 10Represent customer voice by surfacing insights to service teams for product improvements
- 11Architect distributed systems with asynchronous communication patterns
Requirements7
- 1Knowledge of cloud architecture
- 23+ years hands-on experience designing or operating messaging systems
- 35+ years technical specialist solutions architect or systems engineering in customer-facing roles
- 4Experience architecting distributed systems with async patterns
- 5Hands-on experience with Amazon MQ Amazon SQS Amazon SNS and AWS EventBridge
- 6Deep familiarity with messaging protocols AMQP MQTT STOMP JMS
- 7Experience migrating legacy brokers IBM MQ TIBCO EMS webMethods
